NERF Battle At The Library!

This week's "30 Minutes of Good" from The EP Podcast includes a visit from Mayor Kelly Burke, our good friend Frank Murray of The Evergreen Park Public Library, and the organizers behind a local fundraising event.

Mayor Burke talks about a new event coming to Klein Park on August 11th, and updates us on the townhouse project she recently discussed on our show. Frank Murray has a bunch of events for the whole family, including some with NERF guns and craft beer. (Will they be part of the same event?) Plus, Most Holy Redeemer has a big fundraising event planned around their 80th Anniversary!

It’s Parade Week In Evergreen Park!

The big Evergreen Park Independence Day Parade returns this Friday, and we have a few of the participants on this episode. Frank Murray of the Evergreen Park Public Library has magicians, stuffed animals that come to life and spy training this month. Just don't ask him to throw out free library books at the parade! John Brand of Open Outcry helps out our youngest local entrepreneur with some tips this week, but the biggest question is what his brewery will be handing out on the parade route. Join us for "30 Minutes of Good!"
